Octopus Ink Creative designed the Lonely Hearts Press Ad Campaign for ‘Book An Ad’. Book Ad An wanted to encourage people to buy local and sell local. You could buy or sell your unwanted items for free within the decided area of the newspaper.
Our brief was to come up with a new creative concept that would be more appealing to the audience than previous campaigns.
We decided to play on the idea of the traditional lonely hearts column, often found in magazines and papers before the digital world took over! However this time, the lonely items were seeking new owners. This project was very playful and we came up with a series of short stories about various items searching for their perfect partners.
