Overview

Editorial design for the City Life Extra magazine (Sister title to CityLife). Octopus Ink worked on the editorial design for a free magazine published weekly to 16,000 Manchester city centre apartments and a further 6000 copies handed out with the Manchester Evening News!

We worked on the magazine layout design, incorporating colour, imagery and copywriting into the pages. City life needed a young, urban look to appeal to its target audience. We used bold colour and broke the rules of generic magazine conventions, bringing to life a fresh and energetic media product for a younger audience!
